Hello racers and followers,

Firstly we are extending a boisterous THANK YOU to the following:

*Bub's Tacos for making 15 burritos on their day off for us!

*To The Broken Spoke for graciously helping host the event! Thanks Pete and Nate.

*Anderson Lake State Park for allowing us to use the location! Thanks Ranger J. Maberry.

*For Quimper Trails Association for maintaining mountain bike trails in our area. $2 of every race registration is donated to their cause!

*To the Jefferson County Sheriff's department for offering medical support for the event. Thank you for keeping us safe. Thanks Joe and Tony.

*To Jim and Gary for sitting out on the course.

*To Margaret for volunteering at registration.

*To Vivian, from the PT Leader, for documenting the event very well for us! We made the September 29th, 2010 PT Leader's "Our Place" of section C's FRONT PAGE. Here is the article link:

And lastly, and not least of all, thank you racers for supporting our low-key community mountain bike races. We couldn't have done it with out you! We know that times and final results are important; please see the Anderson Lake page for those.

Lots of work has been put into the trails in the last two weeks out at Anderson Lake State Park in preparation for the up coming race on September 19th. We hope that all you readers have gotten your registration in because you save a bit of money by paying early.

Times will be fast so bring your sprinting legs you are going to need it. And for those of you in the Sport category, you get to chase down our Jefferson County Sheriff and make him feel like he eats too many doughnuts.

Hope to see you all there.
